Are you in need of some great developer content? This article will cover some suggested blog sites/pages that focus on development related topics.

Let’s take a look at some great developer blog sites so you can learn what the community is doing in terms of new workflows, technologies, tutorials, etc.

Scotch.io

This blog covers topics for those that are interested in both front end, back end, and full stack content via courses and tutorials. Included with the awesome developer content, the website has great animations that you can interact with. Instead of categories, they are using the hashtags for the different tutorial topics that are offered on the website.

Along with the great tutorials and courses that you can take with Scotch.io, there is also a page on the site for news. So this website can cover all of your needs in regards to content and news for full stack developers. It is not necessarily designed for those that are UX/UI oriented, rather, it’s more of a hub for technical devs.

CSS Tricks

On the contrary to Scotch.io, CSS Tricks is more of a design based blog website with some front end and other articles relating to development as well. Just like the Scotch.io, CSS Tricks has some really interesting animations throughout the site which makes the experience better. You can tell that this website is using its own content to build a great blog.

Codrops

This is another great blog for front end and UX/UI designers to find content. There is more front end specific tutorials however than that of the CSS Tricks. There is a page called playground that provides general development related material. They also have a page just for tutorials that you can follow along with. Although this website may not have the fancy web animations like the others, it still provides decent content for web developers.

DeveloperDrive

This blog website is geared towards full stack developers but is not just for those that are experts. You can also be a new developer and still enjoy some of the articles on their blog. Much like the Codrops website, it does not have a high level of animation for that special experience for the user, but it has quite a large library of articles that one can sift through. If you are a technical developer, you can find something interesting to read through on their website.

CodeNewbie

As said in the name, CodeNewbie is a great blog for new developers. The site also has a podcast, chat, and more. There may also be some content that even experienced developers can learn from as well.

We hope these resources help you in your development journey no matter what stage you are at.
